About Jeff

Jeffrey C. Lavey grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston College in 1987 and earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1990, the same year he was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. He has practiced law in Massachusetts continuously since then, for over 35 years.

Jeff operates a solo practice. He handles each case personally, from the initial consultation through resolution, rather than assigning matters to associates or paralegals. The attorney who takes the initial call is the same attorney who negotiates the settlement, prepares the case for trial, and represents the client in court.

His practice is divided primarily between personal injury and criminal defense. On the personal injury side, this includes car accidents, workplace injuries, and medical malpractice. On the criminal defense side, this includes OUI, drug charges, and assault cases.

Jeff has won multiple awards for client service, including recognition from Avvo and Martindale-Hubbell.
