I retained the services of Attorney Jeffrey Lavey for three car accidents that I was involved in during calendar year 2018. As you can imagine, it was a tough year for me since one of the accidents was quite severe and involved several months of treatment and rehabilitation. The driver who hit me was uninsured and it was not worth pursuing her as an individual since she was already responsible for all of the expenses related to my injuries via a workers’ compensation claim. Jeff was able to navigate me through the process of filing a claim through my automobile insurance company, and he obtained the maximum benefit. In 2018 The Burlington Police were called to the scene over a popped tire. The police arrested me on charges of an OUI. I do not drink or do drugs; when I was tested for alcohol: 0.0000. Jeff is a great attorney and friend who keeps you up to date with everything in the case. Right before the trial the OUI was thrown out with failure to prosecute. The officers tried a second time to charge me again with an OUI, it had to go before a hearing, so Jeff had his colleague George Panas represent me and it was thrown out again. That’s why you need good attorneys like Jeff.

He knew that in my case the police officers were in the wrong. The OUI was thrown out before the trial. After the trial was over the Burlington Police tried again to charge me with the same OUI.
